On September 15th we will begin a new message series called Next S.T.E.P.S. that will be heard not only as the message in our small groups, but also during the homily at weekend Masses. This series is an acronym to describe our faith development. Our faith is a journey that we will not complete in this life; a journey that requires us to keep taking our next step. In this series, we will look at the five major STEPS we believe are necessary to grow as a disciple of Jesus Christ:

The Missions ministry continues to collect travel size toiletries to make hygiene bags for the homeless. We are in great need of travel sized shaving cream, deodorant and dental floss. Collection bins are located in the Family Center next to the Information Booth and in the Chapel area of the Church. CLICK HERE if you are interested in finding out more about our Missions work here at Ascension.

Mark your calendar and plan to join us for a special reception after every Mass that weekend!

As summer begins, many of our volunteers are gone and we really need your help and support to continue to have every weekend Mass staffed with liturgical ministers and ministers of welcome and hospitality. We are appealing to you to please step up to weekend ministry and serve as a greeter, a host minister, or help out in the Holy Grounds Cafe. Consider training to become an Extraordinary Minister of Holy Communion. Your service really DOES make a difference at our weekend Masses.  Simply submit a Ministry Interest Form and we will be glad to contact you! You can also CLICK HERE to download the form. Complete it, and drop it off at the Information Booth, the Parish Office or in the weekend collection basket. We look forward to hearing from you!

In addition to our Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament on Thursday evenings, we also have Adoration, Monday through Friday 8 to 8:50 AM.  All are welcome.

Our next photo session will take place on Saturday, September 22 from 4:00 to 6:00 pm and on Sunday, September 23 from 8:30 am to 2:00 pm. Photos are taken in Classroom 5 located in the back of the Family Center. This is a parish project with no outside vendors involved and the photo session is FREE! It only takes a few minutes and we can’t wait to share your smile! For additional information, please call the parish office at 561-997-5486.

Our Annual Christmas Bazaar will be November 3 and 4. If you are a vendor or a crafter, we invite you to participate. Please call Gloria Klein at 561-414-1020 for information. Don’t wait, call today. Tables are limited.

Stop by our Information Booth in the Family Center. Our friendly volunteers are available to assist you after the Sunday morning Masses. Our mobile cart is available after the Saturday 4:30 pm Mass and the Sunday 7:00 pm Mass.

In mid-August, the REBUILT book will be available to purchase for just $3.00.  We are taking names to reserve a copy of the book at the Information Booth.  This is a special purchase offer and we were able to order 300 copies.  RESERVE YOUR COPY TODAY! Stop by the Information Booth or call the parish office at 561-997-5486.

Join us in the Holy Grounds Cafe, located in the Family Center, after Sunday Mass. We are open from 8:00 am to 2:00 pm. We serve a variety of coffees and delicious pastries!
