TUESDAY – November 13

6:30 pm – Our Fall session of Harvesting Our Tears begins September 18. It is a structured, eight week bereavement process which draws on the richness of scripture, prayer, sacrament, theology, music and tradition of the faith community. Please consider joining us. THURSDAY – November 15

9:45 am – Body, Mind & Spirit Class – taught by Sally Grillo.  A seven class series is $49, drop-in is $8/class. Make healthy choices and set intentions for 2018. Move, breathe and be present! Classes include quiet centering with God’s Word; Therapeutic postural chair exercises with focus on breath and alignment. Strength, Flexibility, Stress relief, Balance & Harmony! All Are Welcome! Please join us in the Family Center.  If you are new to our program, please call the parish office at 561-997-5486 to confirm the time for this week’s class.

10:00 am – Bible Study – Family Center. The Acts of the Apostles shows the Church, enlivened by the Holy Spirit, teaching, preaching, healing, and restoring outcasts in the same way that Jesus did on earth.

7:00 pm – Divine Mercy Chaplet – Church

FRIDAY – November 16

10:00 am – Ministry to the Need

WEEKEND OF NOV 17-18

Ascension’s Thanksgiving food collection next weekend will benefit the Caring Kitchen food pantry in Delray Beach. They are in need of canned chicken and tuna, canned vegetables, peanut butter, and cereal.
Please bring your donations to the church exits ONLY the weekend of November 17/18. As we have no storage at the church, please bring your donations only the weekend of the drive. Containers will be at the church exits. NO FRESH VEGGIES OR FRUITS. Thank you so much for your continued generosity.

10:00 – Baptismal Preparation Class – Family Center, Classroom 3

3:15 pm – Confessions

4:30 pm – Vigil Mass


SUNDAY – November 18

Masses – 7:30, 9:00 (with Children’s Liturgy), 10:30 am, 12:00 noon and 7:00 pm.

4:30 pm – High School/Confirmation Youth Group – Family Center. Join us for fellowship, food, games and small groups!

Join us in the Holy Grounds Cafe After Mass – We are serving a variety of coffees and delicious pastries after our morning Masses.  Make sure to stop by our Information Booth in the Family Center.  You can schedule Mass Intentions and sign up for upcoming events.  If you are new to Ascension, you can register in the parish and learn about a variety of ways you can become more active in parish life. We look forward to seeing you! 

Stop by the Gift Shop after Mass and get your copy of Rebuilt. We are offering the book for only $3.00, which is our cost. We hope everyone will read the book to be able to understand and participate in our vision for Ascension. If you are currently involved in ministry or mission, or have been praying about getting more involved in the parish, this book is a must-read! You can pre-order your copy at the Information Booth, located in the Family Center.
