The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA) is the process by which those who are interested in learning about the Catholic Faith, can attend sessions that help them learn about God and the Catholic Church. If they discern that they would like to become members of the Catholic Church, this process can lead to full initiation into the Catholic Church.
RCIA is for adults who:
- Are interested in learning about God, Jesus Christ, the Catholic Faith, the Catholic Church, and knowing in what direction they should go,
- Have never been baptized in another Christian faith and are interested in the Catholic Faith,
- Are baptized Catholics who have not yet received the Sacraments of First Communion or Confirmation,
- Are married to a Catholic, attend Mass, and would like to take the next step to become a member of the Catholic Church.
RCIA is a spiritual formation process, beginning in September, leading to full communion into the Church at the Easter Vigil. RCIA sessions are held weekly on Monday nights from 7:00 – 8:30 pm at the church in one of the classrooms. Our classes for the 2016-2017 year will begin in September. These weekly sessions are for anyone with interest, no matter your current denomination. Please encourage your family, friends and neighbors, who may have an interest in Catholicism, to come and investigate. If you are interested in attending or would like more information, please contact Jocelyne Carrigan at 561-997-5486 or via Email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
The 2016/2017 RCIA Registration Form is not yet available for download. Please check back for link or call the parish office at 561-997-5486.
We meet Mondays from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. Classes begin Monday, September 19th. Please check back for our complete 2016-2017 schedule.
